About us
Chrysalis Care & Mentoring aim to make a difference to people’s lives. We provide individuals with a range of tailored support services, through one-to-one provisions, personal development and group programmes. Many young people face challenging circumstances in their lives, and that is where we step in.

Our Mentors
All Mentors within our organisation, are subject to safer recruitment processes which include an Enhanced DBS check, at least 3 references, a full employment history check and are subject to a 4-week induction programme within the Company.
We recruit our Mentors using a values-based recruitment process. This is a 2-stage process with the first stage involving an assessment of the Mentor’s value to ensure that they align with those of our organisation.
These values include the following:
- Compassion
- The will to make a difference to the lives of children and young people
- Transparency in the way of working
- Person centred working
- Confidentiality
- A caring outlook
On completion of the first stage a formal interview and assessment process will take place with a selected young person, forming the interview panel with support from existing Mentors employed by the organisation.
